Thank you!** Meet Allie - a 2 year old, Border Collie mix, who weighs 50 pounds (as of 6/15/24). Sweet Allie was adopted as a pup by a family who thought she was a Jack Russell puppy. You can see from her size that's not the case! Unfortunately, they are not longer able to care for her due to their declining health issues. Her foster shares: "Allie is an absolute sweetheart! She loves getting attention from humans, and would do best in an active home where they can bring her on walks and hikes and show her the world around her! She LOVES kids and has been exposed to cats and done fine with them. She gets very excited when meeting new humans as she is always looking for a new BFF. She is also having so much fun with the other doggos in foster care. She's with 5 small dogs currently and a Rottweiler and does great with all of them. It is most likely that both their parents were strays and even if not, mixes of some sort and that their grandparents were mixes as well. The dog may have some genetic material of an American Staffordshire Terrier (pit bull). The dogs are usually mixes of many breeds, making them a breed all their own - a True and adorable American MUTT. If you are interested in this dog, you must submit an application.
