Alka

Alka is a very sweet girl who needs a family that will help her feel safe in the world. Alka will do best in a home that is calm & on the quiet side so older, quieter kids in the home would be ok. Once you have earned her trust she is a typical Boxer goofball who does zoomies, loves cuddles, lap time, hand & face licks, hugs and will be by your side as you go about your day. She gets along well with her foster brother now after a bit of an extended introduction. She is curious about cats and will likely learn that chasing them when they move quickly isn’t going to be accepted. Alka needs a calm, patient home that can slowly help her feel more secure about meeting new people and learning about things she has apparently not experienced before. She walks nicely on a leash but is fearful of people in general so we are taking new experiences slowly and making sure they are positive. Alka is a smart, intuitive girl, has not had a single accident in the house and learned to use the dog door in about ten minutes. NCBR requires verbal landlord approval for all renters. * We no not do adopt female boxers into homes with other large breed female dogs * We do not adopt out dogs as gifts * All pets must be INDOOR companions! * NCBR does not adopt out of state, except northwest Nevada.
