Alfonso is a full breed Xoloitzcuintle puppy whose parents were brought to the US from Mexico... but he doesn't speak Spanish or anything. He was born on June 15 2010 so is just over 16 weeks old as of this writing. Alfonso has just a bit of timidity but his wonderful personality should blossom in his own home. He was born in a private home, not a commercial breeder. Alfonso's mom weighed 15 pounds and his dad weighed 20 pounds. He weighs 8 - 9 pounds now and we expect that his adult weight will be around 18 - 20 pounds. We will expect any adopter to know something about the care of a hairless dog, either by experience or research.
Alfonso is neutered, up to date on all shots, on heartworm preventive, well wormed and microchipped. Even with ALL of his first year vet care done, Alfonso's vet fee is only $400.
