My adoption fee is free! License fees apply for residents of Seattle. (All dogs who are with us for longer than 1 month have waived adoption fees.)
This goofy gentleman is Alfie! He's an easy-going guy who can be quite shy at first, but once he warms up, has quite the personality. His foster parent states that "The lab in him brings out his love for water! Upon seeing the river, he immediately put his whole-body in. :) Alfie gets along great with my female dog and though he was shy at first is quickly gaining more confidence. He doesn't seem bothered by passerby's whether they be dogs or people. He's a pretty laidback guy that likes to play outside once he gets comfortable with you and his fur friends, but also likes coming home and transitioning into a dedicated couch potato. This catch loves his walks and gets a burst of energy from playing with his foster sister"
Pets are complex beings and prior to adoption, interested adopters will be counseled by a staff member to discuss the specific needs for each animal. This will include reviewing all known medical and behavior information.
** Please note that some animals will receive numerous inquiries, sometimes more than we can process. We appreciate your understanding and patience.
** HOW TO ADOPT: Check the animal's location. (If you cannot see the animal's location, please view the pet's profile through our website: https://www.seattle.gov/animal-shelter/find-an-animal/adopt)
