Alfie is very smart, loves treats, and has learned "come, "sit", and "down" while in foster care. He is doing fabulously with crate and potty training and hasn't had any accidents when on a regular bathroom schedule . He loves to chase water out of the hose, play with his toys, and take walks. He gets along with the resident dog, and has not been reactive to the cats he has seen in the neigborhood. Be ready for cuteness overload!When Alfie first arrived, he was super overstimulated and used his barking voice to "tell" you when he was excited, tired, hungry, or had to potty. After acclimating to his new environment with crate time, regular potty breaks, and feedings 3x a day, the barking has substantially decreased.Like many puppies, Alfie likes to chew, and hands are his favorite. However, he loves to train with treats, so his foster family has learned that is a good way to redirect him. He also enjoys chewing on his abundance of toys! With his spaniel/terrier tendencies, he can get overstimulated and would benefit from an experienced owner who can provide structure and redirection when needed. Alfie has improved so much in 2 weeks.
