Alex is in the building! "Mr. Photogenic" was transported from an overcrowded WV shelter. All 43 lbs. of "happy" is ready to welcome visitors so he can show his stuff. Estimated to be 4 years old, Alex is a great medium size dog in the prime of his life. From those who observed him at his previous shelter, Alex — it was said was good with kids. However a recent introduction with very young kids did not turn out to be the best fit, so it may be that Alex would do best with older, easier to redirect, respectful kids who will give Alex his space, but an adult only home is the ideal placement. It was also observed that Alex gets along with several other dogs and has shown no reaction to cats in the kennel, but setting up a meet with an approved applicant’s dog would be required.
You can visit the dogs from noon - 3 pm Saturdays and Sundays, otherwise by appointment. You can also submit an application to [email protected].
