Alex had a good life till he was about 3 years old and life passed him by. His owners got busy, then they had kids, then they got jobs that kept them away too long. Alex got put out on a chain in the back yard and got feed and watered daily but he missed his family. Then to no surprise, the family moved and left him behind for him to find his own new family. His neighbors have been taking him food and water and making sure he is OK, but they have too many cats and Alex is in need of one on one attention. That is when he found his way into the CCHS adoption program where he is safe and sound awaiting a forever home!

He is good with kids and other dogs. Alex is now around 8 years old but still has a lot of life left in him and would love nothing more but to be a couch potato and watch your favorite shows with you!! The smaller the dog the longer the life!!!
