Agamemnon

Agamemnon is a 9 year old purebred labrador retriever. He has a silly name but this friendly boy is all business when it comes to playing fetch. You would never know he's an "older" boy when you watch him chase down ball after ball. He'll even bring the ball right back and drop it in front of you. Agamemnon knows "sit," "down," and "stay." He is very friendly and is always smiling. This poor boy had a home but he was found on the street and his owners chose not to come get him. Let their loss be your gain. Adopting Agamemnon would be win-win, you would get a sweet, friendly, trained dog and he would get a comfortable, loving forever home where he will never be abandoned again. Please consider opening your heart and home to this sweetheart. No dog deserves to be in the Shelter but it's heartbreaking to see an older boy abandoned here, especially a dog as amazing as Agamemnon. All the animals at the shelter are spayed/ neutered, up-to-date on vaccines, heartworm negative, are microchipped, and have current rabies vaccines and Alachua County licenses. With all adoptions we offer a free vet exam to the vet of your choice in Alachua County. Adoption fees are $85 for dogs and puppies, $75 for cats and kittens, and $45 for New Hope dogs or $33 for New Hope cats. New Hopes are animals that have been here for an extended period of time.
