Aelin

Meet Mama Aelin. This lil girl came to us from animal control with 5 itty bitty babies. One of our long time volunteers was heading to new endeavors and named this family after the novel Throne of Glass. Aelin was a wonderful mama but is now ready to start her own chapter with a furever family. She's had a rocky start with not being spayed and not being provided heartworm preventives (Aelin tested heartworm positive during spay surgery). Both creating burdens on her little body that easily could have been prevented. This lady is happy happy happy though. She loves people and spending time with them. She'll be starting on a slow kill heartworm treatment soon, which means she will need lots of cuddle time and mental stimulation to keep her tired and happy while her body goes through treatment (she doesn't know she's sick and relies on her people to keep her safe). Her heartworm treatment will be covered by Paws in Middle Georgia. Medications will be provided to the adopter with specific instructions to keep her calm. Medications are very easy to administer.
