Shelter staff and volunteers described this dog as a "happy, happy dog", and boy, they weren't kidding. Luke is an adorable older beagle boy who still loves life. He loves to explore new things and follow you around the house watching all the interesting things you are doing. Luke still has plenty of energy, is pretty healthy, loves people and other dogs, is small for a beagle, and doesn't bark much (unless you forget to pet him when you come home!). He will even help with the housework by making sure your kitchen floor remains free of crumbs :) Luke is hoping to find that special person who can overlook his age and see him for the sweet boy that he is. Could that person be you?

Since this is one of our senior pets, we would be willing to consider applications outside our normal adoption area.
