My Story

Meet Adil! In March, we partnered with SPCA International to bring Adil to Seattle from Palestine. The conflict in this region is causing much suffering for people and animals alike. Adil made it safely to us and we are getting to know him better every day. He is around 5 years old and around 60 lbs. Adil is a sweet boy who is just learning about the world. He was rescued from wandering the streets and then spent some time in a sanctuary in Gaza. He is a sweet and affectionate boy and is learning quickly how to be a loved pet. He is potty trained and well behaved in the home. He has discovered he likes beds and couches! He is a gentle and timid boy, who is so grateful for any love shown to him. Adil has been learning about the leash and his foster has been hiking with him, which he just loves. For now he will be best in a home with a yard. Busy streets are not his thing. He likes a more calm home. He currently shares his foster home with another dog and does well - he is learning to share. We prefer to place him in a home with kids over 10. He has never been around cats. He is vaccinated, chipped and neutered. His adoption fee is $395. We cover the medical to prepare the pet for adoption and the adopt donations go directly to cover those costs and range from $295-$495. Thank you for stepping up to save a life! To expedite to meet with this dog, please go to our site at www.savinggreatanimals.org and fill out an application. We look at the first applications to arrive, so we hope to hear from you soon!
