Why Choose Me? Doggy-Day-Out update: All About Adam!???? I spent my day with this gentle sweet boy,Adam. He is about 7 years old and is currently staying at the ACC animal shelter. I was drawn to his sweet, droooy eyes and unique features. I particularly like his tail, which I think looks like a croissant. He reminds me of a blood hound mixed with a pit bull mixed with a sharpei and he is a nice medium size. Adam was unreactive to his barking neighbors when we left the shelter. In fact, I think the noise scares him. He was half to get out and relax a while. First we took a walk on the wooded trail around the shelter. He was happy to explore, but did not pull and was very easy to direct on his leash. Adam is an awesome walker. Next, he hopped right in my car and we headed to pet supplies plus for a bath. He was excellent in the car! After his much needed bath, his beautiful red fur was shining! He picked out a bullystick to enjoy back at my house. Adam was falling asleep in the car on the way home. Back at my house, he enjoyed checking out my backyard but wasn't too interested in playing. He was more interested in staying close and receiving lots of love! We ended the afternoon with a bullystick and a nice nap before I took him back. Adam was comfortable enough to ask for some snuggles and belly rubs. If you are looking for an easy going companion, PLEASE consider Adam! He is a sweet soul who deserves to spend his senior years being spoiled in a loving home! * * * Update: Seriously-this guy is AWESOME! He has done great with the dogs we've tested him with (male, female, big, small) and was curious about the catio cats without fixating on them. Such a good boy! * * * Adam is a mild-mannered dog who lit up when I stopped at his gate. He sees everyone as a friend and was happy to walk with me. The turf was hot, so Adam quickly made his way to the shade. That was fine because he likes to chill. Adam sits for treats, smiles when you pet and praise him, and is a really good buddy. He's also handsome. I enjoyed being with this easy-going boy.
