Ace is a 1 yr. old black lab mix. He weighs 55 lbs. He was an owner surrender in the south because he had hip dysplasia. He has undergone FHO surgery and this issue has been corrected. His walk appears normal at this point. Ace loves to swim and play with other dogs. He has nice manners and does not jump up on people. He goes immediately into a 'sit' when you get his leash out because he wants you to put it on him. He always comes when he is called. He is socialized with people of all ages and has been cat tested and seems fine. He is crate trained, house trained, and leash trained. Ace is just an all around FANTASTIC dog who deserves a family who will love him for the rest of his life! His adoption fee is $350.

We are a network of foster homes in the South and the New England area. THERE IS NO SPECIFIC SHELTER LOCATION. If you wish to meet our dogs, you must first be approved by going through our application and screening process.
Forever Home Rescue suggests obedience training for all puppies and dogs. All dogs are up to date on their shots, dewormed and spayed or neutered. Vet fees, transport fee and New England quarantine fees ARE INCLUDED in each dog's adoption fee. Also, any dogs older than pups--even if they are not marked housetrained in their posting---usually housetrain within a day or two, because most are used to living outside in the south and will prefer to "do their business" outdoors.
