Meet Abuelo. Abelo is a senior dog at 18 years old. He found himself at Noah Project after his owner could no longer take care of him. Abelo is a seasoned veteran of the dog world, and he's got the quirks to prove it. He loves adults with a passion but has no patience for children. Like a typical old cranky man, he's all about peace and quiet, and the mere sight of a child sends him into a tailspin of tiny Chihuahua indignation. Despite his disdain for the younger generation, Abelo is surprisingly social. He gets along famously with both dogs and cats. In fact, he's probably the only Chihuahua in the world who thinks cats are cool. He's the canine equivalent of that grandpa who feeds the neighborhood strays and has a secret friendship with the alley cat. He doesn't like when strangers get close to his face, but what old man would? He loves walks and car rides. He is house-trained but has had some accidents lately.
