Abe

Professor Abe Goldstein is a neutered, 12 year old, 20lb, potty trained, blind, nearly deaf guy looking for his forever home! He’s been with us for almost a year and in that time has learned he likes being part of a family. Abe’s favorite activities are slow walks around the neighborhood, wandering the backyard and treat puzzles. He’s enjoying his retirement years with lots of naps, and therefore doesn’t require much of his new family. He would prefer a quiet home with no kids under 10, though younger kids visiting is okay as long as they respect Abe’s boundaries. The ideal home for Abe would be one without stairs, where he is left to sunbathe all day given lots of treats. Abe is great at being left home alone and has no separation anxiety. The Professor does not like green beans, squeaky toys, or baths. If you’re looking for a dog who is basically a cat, Professor Abe Goldstein is your guy! Abe is up to date on vaccines, and had a full dental in March 2023. He has no other health issues other than some arthritis from old age.
