My Story
Abby is a beautiful black and brown terrific Terrier who is just under 5 years old. Abby possesses exceptional intelligence, making her as clever as any Terrier can be. Not only is she kind and loving, but she also yearns for a human companion to call her very own.
Abby already has a solid foundation of basic commands under her belt. She takes pleasure in going on long walks and has been fully potty trained. The only thing missing from Abby's life is a home with an adult female owner. This is because poor Abby has endured abuse from men in the past, who mistakenly believed that hitting her on the head was an acceptable form of play. Consequently, she remains somewhat hesitant around new people and is cautious around men. However, with patience, love, and understanding, Abby has the potential to heal from her traumatic experiences, allowing you to witness the incredible essence that is Abby.
While Abby enjoys socializing with other dogs, she does not desire a canine companion in her home. Furthermore, Abby is quite selective when it comes to forming friendships with female dogs, and she generally prefers smaller dogs. Though Abby weighs 25 lbs, she has been spayed, microchipped, and is up-to-date on all her vaccines.
Therefore, if you possess a big heart and a gentle spirit, Abby would be delighted to meet you as soon as possible.

The best way to keep a dog happy is to simply provide for their physical, intellectual, and emotional needs. Make sure they have a healthy diet, an appropriate amount of exercise, enough mental stimulation, and lots of love and affection.
Not only do animals give you unconditional love, but they have been shown to be psychologically, emotionally and physically beneficial to their companions. Caring for a pet can provide a sense of purpose and fulfillment and lessen feelings of loneliness.
Note: Paws Fur Hope does are best to provide all the info we can, assess their medical needs and treat if possible.
