In February, we took in a mother dog and her 7 one week old puppies. We knew that she was a chihuahua mix. She is a slender 16 pounds and we had no idea of what her breed mix was or the breed of the father. As the weeks passed, we realized that 3 of the puppies looked like blue heelers, one looked like a red heeler, two looked like Jack Russell terriers and one was black and tan, like the mother. Suprise, suprise. The puppies were born on February 17th. They have been well cared for by their mother, Cindy. They are all cute, healthy, playful and happy. Our vet estimates their adult weights between 20 and 30 pounds. They will be ready to go to their new homes by the end of May. We are having several adoption events this month to showcase our babies. Speak now and we can start the adoption process. Aaron is one of the puppies that we think looks like a Jack Russell terrier. He has always been the smallest of the litter, but not by much. He is playful and affectionate. The adoption fee for Aaron s $250. Each of our dogs is up to date on all shots, including rabies, spayed or neutered, microchipped, fecal tested for internal parasites, treated if necessary, tested for heartworm, treated if necessary, on heartworm preventative and we also take care of dentals or any other medical needs they may have. With your dog, you will receive a health booklet detailing everything that we have done to be sure that they are in the best of health and all spiffed up to be your treasured pet.
