My Story

UPDATE: Adopted by the supervisor, living in her office!

This *older* fella wants to be at your place, lounging around. He's very sweet and very docile. We're currently treating him for a flea allergy, which should be easily manageable by doing things like making sure he does not have fleas! Pretty easy, huh?

He is probably about 8 years old, if not a little older. He seems to be in pretty good shape, and we are taking care of the few issues he does have. He is EXTREMELY housebroken. He loves to chew on pig ears. He's just a big ol' lovable lug who doesn't seem to know how to misbehave! He likes to hang out in the supervisor's office. He is already neutered. He came in as a stray and is available 8/15/2007.

The adoption fee on a dog over the age of four months is $36.00 (if you live outside the city limits of Springdale, the fee is $31.00). This includes a voucher for a Rabies vaccination from a veterinarian and also a $10 off spay/neuter voucher also to be used at a veterinarian's office. If you live inside the city limits of Springdale, you will also receive a voucher for a city license to be issued upon proof of Rabies vaccination by a licensed veterinarian.

If the dog is under four months of age, the fee for adoption is $25.00. This includes a $10 off spay/neuter voucher.

Each dog/puppy that is released from Springdale Animal Services will be recieve their combination vaccination and also be de-wormed using Strongid-T. Please visit your veterinarian for boosters and any additional de-worming treatment needed. We also recommend taking the dog to a veterinarian for a wellness check-up within 72 hours. Exchanges are only allowed for medical reasons as specified by the veterinarian.

**Springdale Animal Services would like to remind you that Rabies vaccinations by a licensed veterinarian are required on a yearly basis for all cats and dogs! Proof of Rabies vaccination must be provided before you are issued a city license!**
