Zest was one of eleven pups born into All Border Collie Rescue to Momma Meg. Meg was found tied to a fence outside a restaurant with a note attached that said my mom and dad can't take care of me. Meg was then turned into a shelter and pulled by ABC Rescue just a few hours later. She was taken in by an awesome foster family who kept her through the rest of her pregnancy. Just nine days into foster, Meg gave birth to Zest and the rest of the gang in a kiddie pool in the middle of the foster home's living room!! Mom is a red and white border collie, and we think dad may have been heeler!! The pups are separated from mom now and playing and lovin' life! Little Dot's favorite sibling is Big Dot, so they would love to be adopted together.
All border collie pups adopted out from ABC Rescue are to be crate-trained and kept in the family house. Border Collies thrive only in situations where they are made a part of the family's every day lives. We do not adopt to families who plan to leave the pet outdoors!! Border Collies need the attention of a loving family!! Should you be interested in adopting Zest, you can write to [email protected] and ask for an adoption application. The adoption fee for the pups are $150 each and adopters will have to prove that all the rest of the puppy vetting is done. They will receive three wormings and their first two sets of shots prior to adoption. Adopters will also have to sign a spay/neuter contract and show that this is completed when they reach the appropriate age. The pups are being fostered in the Houston area.
