1 YEAR AT HUMANE SOCIETY Chief is people friendly and gets along great with other dogs. He is about 7 years old but you wouldn't know it by his playfulness. He is ready for a new home - however - it should be a home with no chickens as he is not fond of them - or maybe too fond of them depending on how you look at it. But he is a wonderful companion dog for the right home. He is calm and quiet and loves hard chew toys. He likes being outside and is ready to go for a walk anytime you are. His coat requires regular brushing and he is not food driven but will take all the attention you want to give. He doesn't jump up but will lean on you looking up with puppy eyes wanting love.
