Zippy

Zippidy is all of 10 months old, full of personality, very playful and active, yet gentle as a lamb. He loves to rub noses and will pet your face with the soft pads on the bottom of his paws. He likes to crawl into bed and give kisses. It's impossible to train a cat to be this friendly and affectionate, and this guy just turned out this way! He loves to play with cat toys and empties out the basket of toys and leaves them all over the house! He gets along great will all the other cats, and even tries to play and lick our old Basset Hound. He has never put out his claws or growled, so he would do great in a home with children or other animals. At 10 months he's still a kitten, so batten down the hatches as he runs full speed around the house! Quite a happy ending to an otherwise terrible beginning for Zip. We rescued him from a local shelter where he was scheduled to be put down because he was found outdoors in December with 3rd degree burns down the entire left side of his body. When we took him in he could hardly walk, he was in so much pain. We gave him pain meds and put prescription salve on his wounds. Little by little, he has healed back to 100%. You can see in the photos traces of white, that is the new fur which is slowly turning jet black. You will fall in LOVE with this little guy, he's a hard act to follow!!
