Yukon

Yukon is a beautiful long-haired buff boy who was rescued from an over-crowded shelter. He was found as a stray and his owners never came to claim him. Now that he's in foster care, we know that this boy hasn't lived the life of a street cat, as he is completely and totally comfortable in the house and shows no interest in going outside at all.

He's currently in foster care with 2 dogs and a few other cats. He enoys his 3+ square meals and day and at this point we're encouraging him to eat as much as he'd like since he came into our rescue program very underweight.

Yukon does well with most cats, but definately wants to be the "boss" of some, while is submissive with others. He has be-friended the resident cat in his foster home and spends time snuggled up in the bed with her. He does very well with dogs, but we would not recommend him in a home with small children. In foster care, he has internmittent contact with kids, and doesn't seem to enjoy their presence. He will allow children to pet him, but doesn't want to be picked up, poked at or played with by kids. Therefore, we'd recommend he go to a home without children (adults only please).

Yukon is neutered, tested for Felv/FIV (negative), dewormed, on flea prevention, vaccinated, etc. His required adoption donation is $100.
