** In order to adopt a kitten from HSMC, you must live within an hour of the shelter. You will initially "foster to adopt" the kitten and then the adoption will be finalized when they are brought back for their spay/neuter surgery. You will need to bring the kitten back for vaccines and exams prior to their spay neuter/surgery** Presenting Yennefer (pronounced Jennifer with a Y), she is half of the perfect sister duo, her sister being Renfri. Yennefer and Renfri were taken into a foster home after being dropped off in a box outside a vet clinic. This perfect panther duo have an estimated birthdate of 5/3/24, so they're just about 11 weeks old. Yen is a cuddle bug through and through, with one of her favorite past times being curling up on your chest and purring away. She loves her toys just as much as the next kitten, but her true happiness is being snuggled and loved on. Her foster mom has taken the sisters into work with her, so they are both well socialized young ladies who can sleep right through loud sounds. Yennefer would love to be adopted with her sister, Renfri as they are as close as can be and adore one another. Just look at those pictures of them snuggling! Kittens do best in pairs, have less behavioral problems and are happier! No one can play with a kitten as well as another kitten, plus you're saving two lives instead of one! Yennefer would do well in a house with other cats too, given time for a proper introduction. If there’s a canine present, she would do best with one already acclimated to cats, as she was very concerned by the dogs she’s met. She is a gentle kitten and would do well with older children that know not to pull tails and ears when playing with kittens.
