Our rescues mean a lot to the vet staff and DunRoamin' volunteers. We do everything we can to find the perfect homes for these pets, who are being given a second chance at a happy life. Yaeger came to DunRoamin' on January 17, 2023 from Somerville, NB. He had been a stray in the area for about four years but was now injured and had no one to care for him. Yaeger was born about January 17, 2014. He had several deep wounds on the side of his face that were probably self-inflicted due to the large number of parasites he was carrying which made him so itchy and uncomfortable that he scratched himself very badly in an effort to stop the pain. Yaeger was immediately provided with all medical care required, including parasite control. As of February 17, 2023, his wounds are healing well. He is a very nice boy who has tested positive for Feline Immunodeficiency Virus. Please read about it here. Yaeger's wounds have healed very well. He may still have a bit of scarring on his face (or not!), but his eyes glow with gratitude now that he is pain-free, warm, safe and has such a delicious and nutritious diet. He would love to have his very own home and family - that would be a miracle to him! Please come meet him - he loves people and has lots of attitude!!
