My name is Winnie. I?m a calico who is about 6 years old.
I was rescued
in Jan. 2007 from a waste removal service in center city Allentown. When I was going to be spayed, my rescuer found out that I had already been
altered because of the old spay scar that I had on my belly. It was obvious that I had lived with someone before, but they didn?t want me anymore.
After my rescue, I had been staying in a garage for a few months because my foster mom had allergies. I finally found a wonderful couple who took me into what I thought would be a permanent home. I had
made myself quite comfortable there until my new mom found out that she was allergic to me too. I?m now in a foster home and can?t understand why
no one wants to give me a permanent home. I am VERY lovable and just want to keep a kind, caring human company.
I would be great company for an older person and I get along with calm children. I am however very afraid of other cats and dogs.
I?ve tested negative for FeLV and FIV. I am up to date on all of my vaccines, have been treated for worms and fleas and was previously spayed.
