Velveeta

9 month old Velveeta is a happy-go-lucky guy with an a loving personality and an adventurous spirit. He has a permanent head tilt and a slightly wonky gait, but it definitely adds to his charm! Due to his awkward movements, Velveeta may come off as a bit "derpy", but he is still quite clever. He doesn't have the complete range of motion as other cats, but this may be great news for someone who doesn't want a counter surfer. He can jump up on top of objects that are the height of a low couch, or will use nearby aids as steps to reach greater heights. His curiosity makes him somewhat fearless, but almost in the way that he might not have the self-preserving common sense to keep himself out of trouble (so don't let him go sky diving off a tall cabinet). Velveeta adores human companionship and will often choose to be in the same room as his people, but is independent enough to not required being fussed over constantly. He has lived with both cats and dogs, and has mixed feelings on both, depending on the individual. He seems to mesh well with friendly, chill cats and dogs but may swat at animals who don't respect his personal space. We being handled, he likes to grab your hands and nibble and lick them, but isn't a fan of being picked up, so we don't recommend him for a home with younger children. Velveeta only eats wet food, so his new owner must be comfortable in feeding him a canned only diet. We're certain this goofy, affectionate boy will win you over the moment you meet him with his loving purrs and happy meows, so don't overlook this sweet kitten just because he's a little different!
