My Story

Approx DOB: 10/12/2022 Please read our Core Values prior to applying at www.furryfriendsnetwork.com/adopt/our-expectations. Updated 4/6/2024 Valerie is blossoming in her foster home. She's a petite girl at about 10 pounds now. She would blossom if given the chance of finding a home of her own. She would be fine as an only cat, in fact that would be ideal for her as she just needs someone to sit on the couch with her and watch chick flicks. Valerie is a shy girl but if given time and patience, she will be an amazing cat. She just wants a chance to be loved and get love in return. ****************************************************************************************************** Posted 4/5/2023 Valerie and her sister, Veronica were surrendered by their owner on 3/17/2023. These girls were scared to death, not understanding what was happening. Veronica and Valerie spent some time at PetSmart and their personalities blossomed. Sadly, no one chose them, likely because they are black cats. They are now back in their foster home but still hoping someone will open up their hearts and home to them. They do not need to be adopted together. Valerie is a wallflower of sort in her foster home, allowing the other cats to push in ahead of her. She desperately wants attention, and is hoping someone will give her a chance. She does fine with other cats and dogs, but ideally she will be adopted into a quieter home where she can open up and not be concerned with all that is going on around her. These girls would love to find a place to call home! Will you please open up your heart and home to Valerie? All cats are vaccinated, dewormed, treated with flea preventative, tested negative for FeLV/FIV, microchipped, and spayed/neutered prior to adoption. Adoption application, phone interview, home visit, and adoption fee required (+ PA Sales tax). Adoption fees are: Baby (Kittens up to 1 year) = $125 Young & Adult (1-7 years) = $100 Seniors (8+ years) = $80 If you are interested in adopting a cat(s), we ask that you complete an on-line adoption application to get the process started. To apply, simply go to www.furryfriendsnetwork.com / Adopt a Furry Friend / Adoption Application. You will receive a welcome email once your application has been assigned to a volunteer processor (this should be within 72 hours of submitting an application). If you do not receive such an email, contact [email protected]. Once your application has been processed (this can take approx. 10-14 days), we will arrange contact with the foster to schedule a time to meet cats you might be interested in. We are an all-volunteer organization and appreciate your patience during this process. Foster Homes are needed in order to help more animals like this one. Please consider opening your heart and home to a homeless animal. Check out our website on how to become a Foster Parent! Visit www.furryfriendsnetwork.com and look under Foster a Furry Friend.
