Update 1/28/10:
Ulysses has been in foster care for a long time now. He surely would've found a home sooner but he was busy leaping over the hurdles life put in his way---first learning he had a safe and loving foster home and then successfully fending off an eye infection. But, now Ulysses is ready for his forever home. He has learned to give love very freely and will be sorely missed. But, he deserves to be a full member of a family with a bed to snuggle in with his owners and a full home to explore.
Ulysses is interested in new people. He likes to be cuddled and will purr loudly in approval. Ulysses even loves to chase paper balls and will retrieve them! He has turned into a wonderful young adult that is gentle and affectionate and also playful. Ulysses is not a big guy like his name suggests; he actually has a small frame. Please consider Ulysses. He is a wonderful boy who will bond strongly with owners who take the time to love him.
He is leukemia/AIDS negative, vaccinated, dewormed, and neutered.
Friends of the Four-Legged and Furry rescues primarily from Preston County Animal Shelter and occasionally from desperate situations in the public.
Adoptions and meetings may be arranged by appointment and hours are flexible.
Adoption Events are nearly every weekend, usually Sundays, at Petco in Morgantown, WV from 12-5.
