Poor Tubbs is a wonderful kitty, but he has had a horrible past life. He is an older kitty, probably about 7-8, so he would be perfect for an older couple or senior. We rescued him from a county kill shelter because we felt sorry for this sweet, sweet abandonded kitty that NEVER would have gotten adopted. He had a matted coat, he was smelly from being thrown outside, he had crusty and bloody ears from scratching them. He had a urinary tract infection..........BUT, in spite of all of that, he had a special gleam in his eyes.

Poor Tubbs probably had ear mites his whole life and was never treated. Years of clawing and scratching at his ears has caused them to "shrink" and the insides to become hard scar tissue from bleeding, so at first glance it looks like someone cut his ears off......poor baby! Well now........in his new life..............Tubbs is VERY happy and feels great! We have treated his ear mites, the scar tissue will never go away, but that is only cosmetic. He hears just fine, surprisingly!. He has long, soft, shiny fur. His coat is in excellent condition. He purrs like a freight train. He gets along with all the other animals. He loves people and he loves kids.

The only long term maintenance he requires is he has to eat urinary tract formula food,......which is NOT a big deal because you have to buy him food anyways. The food is not any more expensive than any other quality food. We actually have plenty of food for him that will last awhile and it will go with him when he gets adopted.

Tubbs would be perfect either in a home where he is the only kitty, that way he eats his food only....or...in a home that already feeds existing kittes urinary tract formula food, that way you dont have to worry about who is eating who's food.

Tubbs is looking for his special lifelong friend. He knows there are people out there that can look past his ears, people that have special hearts and can give him the very best home because he deserves it. He deserves to live the second half of his life in the VERY best home. He is a WONDERFUL: kitty and he has absolutely no problem showing you his gratitude and love.

Adoption fee includes: Already neutered and front paw declawed, adult cat shot, tested negative Feline Leukemia/Aids, dewormed and flea maintenance/prevention, plus the rest of the food we bought for him.
