Tris

Say hello to the terrific, Tris. This sweet girl was brought to us through no fault of her own, but only after her owner developed allergies to cats and was no longer able to care for her. Tris has an estimated birthdate of 7/13/23, so she is just a year old. Tris is a sweet and quiet girl who doesn't make a fuss, and asks for very little. She is content with a nice, soft bed, some love and pets, and maybe a nice window to look out of. While Tris is a sweet girl, she doesn't love to be picked up and she will tell you if she isn't a fan of something. She's not a meanie at all, just a girl who knows what she wants out of life! Tris would likely do best in a home that is more on the quiet side. She would love to have a cat tree in which she could sit and watch the birds outside. Once settled in her home, we think that she will flourish and let her guard down. She has been a little stressed at the shelter, and who can blame her? It's just not the same as being in a nice, quiet and loving home. She's doing her best with us, but she really needs to find her perfect and much deserved forever home. Tris has been around other cats and she may do fine in a home with them, or as a solo kitty. She hasn't been around dogs since being at the shelter and we aren't sure how she would do, but would likely be fine with slow and proper introductions. Tris would be fine with kids, but we suggest slightly older kids who can read her cues for when she isn't a fan of something. Would you like to meet the lovely, Tris?
