My Story

Trevor the Tabby is a handsome young fella who somehow found himself on his own on the city streets, where humans and other cats were not kind to him.  Now, in better circumstances, Trevor has gotten his mojo back! He might need a bit of time to adjust to new surroundings. Once he’s comfortable, Trevor will be happy to cuddle with you at night and keep you entertained with his silly antics. Trevor 2 is a year old with a chocolate tabby coat and beautiful green eyes. He is a very interactive boy who is talkative and chirpy. Trev is affectionate with people and snuggles in for petting. He greets his foster mom when she comes home from work and rolls onto his back for tummy rubs. He likes to entertain you by chasing his tail. Occasionally he steals your pen or your straw, and he loves his cat toys too. Trevor is taking medication to keep asthma under control, and he has been nice and stable for some time! He’s not fussy about his food and is a good eater. He also has very neat litter box habits. Trevor is FIV+, but you would never know it! Most cats with this slow-acting virus live healthy, active lives. They can safely live with other cats and people too. We think Trevor2 makes a great ambassador for other FIV+ kitties! Please let us know if you would like a copy of our FIV info sheet. Trevor isn’t fond of other cats and will do best as the only kitty in the household. He is quite intrigued by the household beast (dog), who is respectul of him. We think Trevor would be ok with older kids who will let him come to them first. Trevor 2 is such a sweet boy who loves to be close to you. He will follow you around and ask you about your day, and is a very happy young cat. He’s a curious boy too, and you’ll see him poking his nose around the desk when you’re working. If you think Trevor might be your guy, please send in an application from our website. https://www.orangestreetcats.org/adopt.html or email us at: [email protected] Note: Orange Street Cats is currently following a foster-to-adopt model in place of an in-person meeting prior to adoption. You will provide a foster home to the cat you are interested in adopting for a trial period. This gives you and your family an opportunity to be sure this is a good fit before you make the commitment to adopt. Our adoption team is available during and after the transition period to make sure our adopters and our cats are happy together!
