Totter

Meet Totter! Totter came to us along with her brother, Teeter. They were surrendered through no fault of their own. They were both terrified when they first came to us, but were never nasty, only frightened. Totter is the shyer of the two. She prefers to use her big brother as a shield. Even though she's shy, she will let us handle her and even pick her up without any complaint. She is really starting to warm up for gentle pets and nose-to-tail stroking. She also lights up with toys, especially cat teasers. We think she's someone's best friend just waiting to happen. Totter was initially a bit scared to come out, but she has started to become braver over time. Now she likes to run around with the others a little. Most of all, Totter likes to be up high. She'll run across the tops of the kennels or sit in the cat trees and watch everyone else. She also likes to try and climb up on our shoulders so we'll carry her around. Totter does well with other cats. She enjoys playing with them and is never aggressive. We think she would do okay with gentle, older (>10) kids. She has not been tested with dogs. Teeter and Totter are estimated to be about a year old as of February 2024. Totter has been spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped. With an approved application, her adoption fee is $37.10. We would also do a two-for-one with her brother to keep these two siblings together.
