I am a healthy cat but I did test positive for FIV, Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV). This is a type of virus that typically causes some weakening of a cat's immune system. It is a cat-only virus & cannot be spread through casual friendly contact between cats. FIV+ cats can & do live quite normal lives in quality, duration, & happiness.
