TOM

My, my - what an original name for a tom cat........."Tom"......, but that's the name he came with. Tom was abandoned at a local veterinarian's office with a note that read: ..."Cat's name is Tom. We moved where pets aren't allowed. He's fixed and last shot was 3 years ago."... So, we know he came from a family that loved him, but unfortunately, couldn't keep him. Tom was such a friendly, loving cat that he was adopted almost immediately…. a happy ending to his story – or so we thought. Here it is, a year later and Tom is back with us. The family ran into hard times, and they couldn’t keep their beloved Tom any longer. Poor Tom! He has no idea why he's back or where his family has gone. So now he’s had two families that couldn’t keep him for personal reasons, but loved him enough to make sure he was safe, and would find another home. But Tom doesn’t understand that! All he knows is that he’s alone again……. Tom longs for a permanent place to call home, where he can snuggle in a nice warm bed and stretch out in a sunny window.
