I am from Missouri. From the foster: Tinker is a shyer, independent kitty who prefers minimal physical interaction but enjoys gentle pets on her terms. She's not one for sitting on laps but loves being amidst the action, observing without necessarily seeking interaction. Tinker has developed a keen understanding of the dogs in our home and thrives in the company of other cats. She often takes cues from our resident cat and becomes animated in their presence while she chirps and rubs up against them. While Tinker may seem reserved, she enjoys spending time in the office, perched behind the computer, observing her human companion at work. During these moments, she's open to affection and doesn't shy away. An ideal owner for Tinker would be someone patient, willing to allow her time to acclimate and gradually build trust. Despite her reserved nature, Tinker adores toys and treats, readily indulging in playtime and munching on treats from your hand. She's a pro with her litter box and boasts a striking coat with dark gray tiger stripes and leopard spots that shimmer in certain lighting. Tinker is truly a gem of a cat but requires an owner who can offer patience and understanding. A home with another cat would provide her with companionship and further enrich her life.
