Meet Thor born November 2022. This handsome guy is named Thor, because he is like lightning! Thor is shy at first, so he will need a patient person. Someone who understands how scary it is to be in a new home.
We think he would be fine with other pets with a proper (slow) acclimation. We always suggest that kitties are given an acclimation space when they are adopted where they can decompress.
Thor loves to play. He has mastered the art of chasing the red dot and loves cat wands. Thor has soft velvet like fur.
Thor is being fostered in Silverton.
$100 adoption fee per adult cat.
Hardest part of rescue is:
- Not being able to save every cat.
- Finding excellent homes for our rescues.
Silverton Cat Rescue is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. In order to make sure cats under our care go to the safest and most compatible homes we require adoptees to fill out our Rescue’s application and accept a home visit.

We do not have a shelter. All our rescues are in foster homes.
The $100 adoption fee per cat ensures that all cats coming into your care will be delivered altered (spayed/neutered), microchipped, vaccinated for FVRCP (feline distemper), dewormed, and have been treated for fleas. Tested negative for Fiv/Felv.
