Taylor Swift is about 10 years old. After having an unsettled time of moving from home to home, she was eventually without a home of any kind and was surrendered to us due to inappropriate peeing. The litter box issues may have in fact been due to the stressful nature of her living situation. We have not noticed litter box indiscretions at the shelter, but with this as part of her history, her new family would need to be willing to take a chance on her.
We know that Taylor Swift could do with losing a bit of her weight, but a diet of good quality food will help her with that task. She has no other health concerns we are treating her for at this time, although she will likely need a dental sooner than later.
Taylor Swift needs a safe indoor lifestyle, and would be fine with kids who are savvy enough to give her space when needed. She could take it or leave it with another cat in the home. What she needs most is loving people to remind her how valued she is.
