If you're looking for a lap cat look no further! Hey, I'm Tautog, but you can call me Tog. I'm just over 3 years old. One of the volunteers brought me to Second Chance after she saw me hanging around her house last spring. She spent months and months working with me to build my confidence around humans. I finally decided I loved people, and I crawled right into her lap. I am nervous in new places and need time to warm up to a new environment. I am a low-key mellow boy. I would love a calm quiet house. I can be nervous around other cats but tolerate them. However, I would be happiest as the only cat in the home. NO CHILDREN! I love to play. It's a way that I can escape. I love toys and always have a few around me. I love napping in the window, and I'll always greet you at the door after a long day of work. I love being held and love head pets. I am all about snacks too. Cuddles and snacks are the way to my heart. I am FIV positive, but don't let that deter you from considering me for adoption. Cats with FIV can often live long and normal lives, as long as they receive regular health care visits and a good diet. We make wonderful pets and are certainly deserving of a second chance! I can also live with other cats that don't have FIV due to my laid back personality. I'm such a good boy!
