Our rescues mean a lot to the vet staff and DunRoamin' volunteers. We do everything we can to find the perfect homes for these pets, who are being given a second chance at a happy life. The application process requires pre-adoption applications, references, and interviews with you and those listed on your application in order to ensure a successful placement. Tater originally came to DunRoamin' on October 8, 2009 from Peel, NB where she and her siblings were found in an abandoned potato house. Only about three weeks old, she had fleas, was hungry and cold, but was otherwise healthy. Tater was adopted to a home in Perth-Andover on December 18, 2009, but was returned on June 14, 2023 as her owners could no longer care for her. Tater, now approximately 13 years old, had a very bad urinary tract infection.
Tater was treated at the Florenceville Veterinary Clinic and is now safe and sound here at DunRoamin' where she has been provided with her own private lodging while she undergoes a course of antibiotics to ensure the infection is completely gone. She is a little shy, but is becoming more comfortable with us each and every day.
Tater is a very sweet little old lady who is looking forward to having a loving, quiet home where she can live out the remainder of her years in the love and comfort of a caring family. Tater was born about September 15, 2009. Stay tuned - we'll keep you up to date on this beautiful little girl.
