My Story

Tara is a sweet short haired gray and white kitty. She recently came to a rural rescuer and deliver four healthy babies. We were all surprised when her babies turned out to be Manx (tailless) because Tara has a thick and beautiful tail. Tara is a loving cat who gets along with some, but not all cats. She loves her young daughter Betty and still grooms her. We prefer to adopt them together because they are so loving to each other, but would consider separating them to the right home.

Can't adopt but want to help? Please contact [email protected] to find out about sponsorship, fostering, and other ways you can help this cat! You can save animals like Tara by becoming a foster! Fosters are like way stations between high kill shelters and forever homes. We need fosters so that we can save cats before they are euthanized at the shelters, so that they have more time to find a permanent family. If you are interested in becoming a foster, please click here and email the questionnaire to [email protected].

Thank you for contacting Homeward Trails Animal Rescue and helping to save a life!
