My Story

For questions, email [email protected]. HOW TO MEET THIS CAT: This cat is in a foster home. To meet, please complete the adoption questionnaire. LOCATION: Foster home ADOPTION COORDINATOR: Shana, [email protected] ADOPTION FEE: $170. This fee INCLUDES neuter, vaccines, and microchip. Ask us about our many adoption benefits that include free exams, pet insurance, and other discounts! HOW THIS ANIMAL IS WITH: CATS: Does well with other cats and must have a cat friend DOGS: Unknown but may be ok with proper introductions KIDS: Too skittish for small kids KNOWN LIKES: Head scratches KNOWN DISLIKES: Being held, sudden movements ABOUT THIS ANIMAL: Tank is a sweet but shy boy who was living with over 60 other cats in a hoarding situation when his human died. He's now safely in foster and is looking forward to a forever home without so many cats! Tank does well with cats and needs a friendly cat pal. He can be adopted with his best bud Piglet who also came from the same home. Tank can be a bit skittish and will run with fast movements so best in a calm home without small children. Tank takes time to warm up and needs a patient adopter to help him build confidence, but when he does he is very cuddly. With people he knows, he enjoys head scratches and calm attention. So much love to give! HT ADOPTION INCLUDES: Spay/Neuter A series of FVRCP vaccines, rabies vaccine (if old enough), and deworming Microchip - lifetime registration with no fees EXCLUSIVE ADOPTER BENEFITS: Free physical exam with Caring Hands Animal Hospital, Palisades Veterinary Clinic, Jermantown Animal Hospital and Clarendon Animal Care within 30 days of adoption and all VCA Animal Hospitals (VCA offers $250 coverage - details provided) within 14 days of adoption.
