Charles Dickens wrote, What greater gift than the love of a cat. I've had the privilege of caring for Tails since Christmas time. Whoever is lucky enough to adopt this beautiful, old girl will be getting the best gift ever. She arrived at PACC in rough shape--underweight, completely matted and suffering horribly with stomatitis. Despite all that, she was so sweet and wanted nothing more than love and care. Now that she's had her teeth extracted and can live without pain, she's even more loving! I feed her baby food and bisques, but she's totally able to eat dry food and treats, too. I really think that Tails would let you pet her endlessly if you're willing, and she so deserves it. She's a bit shy, and would probably do best in a quiet home as an only kitty or, even better, with another older, easy-going cat. Please consider giving this special girl a loving home in which to live out her golden years. You'll be so richly rewarded.
