Styx

Styx enjoys love and attention and likes sitting on the back of the couch behind your head. Her foster says "She loves getting on the bed whenever I'm on it. She doesn't always stay on it but any time I lay down, even for just a minute, she instantly hops on and meows!" She is very talkative but is also an independent girl. Styx was surrendered to us when her owner had to move and couldn't take all of her cats with her. She was going to euthanize her because of health issues but all she needed was a dental cleaning and some extractions. In February of 2024 we Styx became diabetic. Luckily she doesn't require insulin shots. She is currently on once daily oral medication. She is very shy and takes time to get to know people and prefers a very quiet household, but once she trusts you she loves to get attention. She is in a foster home and is doing well, but she requires someone with a lot of patience. She has been through a lot in her life and it took her 3 months in her foster home to come out of her shell. She is now looking for a permanent home with someone with just as much patience and love as her foster dad.
