Meet Stewy Elizabeth Meet Miss Stewy Elizabeth! This 4-yr old girl has gorgeous dark stripes and a bright white fluffy chest and paws. She is curious and smart and loves to play. Stewy Elizabeth lost her home and though we don't know the details we know the experience was traumatic. As a result, when she first arrived in foster she was wary of humans. With the love of her foster mom, Stewy now is friendly and good with meeting new people. Though she is still particular about being touched, if her foster mom puts her hand down and lets her sniff it, Stewy will rub against it and happily invite gentle pats. You just have to appreciate that it's on her terms! She will need a cat savvy adopter who can read her body language and respect her boundaries. While she hasn't done it in a long time, she can be startled sometimes and soft bop you with her paw. For that reason she should not be around young children. She just turned 4 years old, enjoys her big cardboard scratcher, will entertain herself with her soft toys when you're out doing errands, and she's so smart that she figured out how to get treats from a treat ball the first time right off the bat. She enjoys hanging around with her people, can become a little chatty at times and loves to tell you a story as she follows you around. She isn't horrible around other cats, but really isn't a fan of them and would prefer to be your only pet. Stewy needs an adopter who will be patient with her as she learns to trust people again. While happy in her foster home she seems a little sad that she hasn't found her loving forever home yet. She has become quite a lovely companion..
