She does not have many teeth left but that does not deter her love of dry food. She will meow for attention and likes to play with soft toys and balls. She loves her cuddle bed for an afternoon nap. She is fine by herself but also gets along well with other kitties. Stevie is positive for feline immunodeficiency virus (FIV). Fortunately, most cats with FIV live long, healthy lives. FIV is NOT contagious to people or dogs and since it's spread by mating and deep bite wounds, it’s okay for FIV positive kitties to live with FIV negative kitties with proper introduction. We do not recommend that FIV positive cats be allowed outside, both to avoid illness and to prevent spread to other cats. Like any other kitty, Sean should be taken to your family veterinarian once a year for a general check-up. All of our adoptable pets have their age appropriate vaccines, dewormer, feline leukemia and fiv test, spay or neuter surgery and a microchip. We have no public facility, but operate with a network of dedicated foster parents and volunteers. To respect the privacy of our foster parents we do require an approved application to visit any of our fostered animals.
