Stash

Meet Stash! Stash was previously living as part of an established cat colony, but he came to TCR when neighbors of the colony caretakers began to complain about the number of cats in the neighborhood. Stash grew up relying on people for food, so he is no stranger to humans. Stash may be shy at first, but we are really starting to grow on him! He is making great progress every day and now comes up to us for pets, begs for treats and food, and allows full handling. We still expect that he will need a transition period in his new home and adopters willing to start him off in one small room and allow him to ease in, but we are confident he will be a great companion once he has time to blossom! Stash does great with other cats and would love to be adopted along with one of the kitties he was rescued with, or to a home with another accommodating resident cat that he can be friends with. He'd likely do OK with older, cat-savvy kiddos, but young or very small kids might be a bit much for him. He does well with being brushed and his future adopters should be prepared to help keep up with his gorgeous, floofy coat! Stash is estimated to be about two years old.
