My Story

MEET STANLEY AND CHARLIE Stanley and Charlie lost their longtime human companion when he died of cancer in June. With no family in the area and the house being vacated on June 30th, Stanley and Charlie are looking for a new forever home. Stanley is 13 and Charlie is 14. They are healthy but for conditions common in elderly cats. Charlie has arthritis and gets a steroid injection every 4 months. Stanley takes methimazole for early-stage hyperthyroidism. These sweet old boys were the light of their human’s life and they miss him. Being such longtime friends, they need to be adopted together. A loving home, preferably without dogs or small children, would be ideal for them to spend their golden years in peace and contentment. Apply online at cnycatcoalition.org/adoption/adoption-application (say you saw them on Petfinder). Your adoption fee contributes to the cost of veterinary treatments the cat has received, such as spay/neuter, rabies and distemper vaccines, testing, deworming medication, and flea and ear mite treatments. CNYCC is a New York State Registered Shelter/Rescue, Registration Number: RR099
