I’m Sprite, and after months of waiting at the shelter, I am running out of hope that I will ever find my soulmate. I arrived as a cruelty case last December, and despite being safe and receiving lots of TLC from my caretakers, I’ve had the hardest time finding confidence in myself here. All of the activity and new faces surrounding me make me want to hide away.
I’m searching for someone who will provide me with familiarity, security, and comfort. Someone who will be kind and patient with me as I come out of my shell. Because even though I’m still learning to trust and feel a bit skittish, the truth is that there is nothing I long for more than a best friend.
