Spike is a handsome orange boy, about four years old, who was one of many cats rescued out of a hoarding situation. Because he was one of many cats, he did not receive much human attention, so he's shy when it comes to being pet, so he'll need time for his trust to be earned. He's making gradual progress in this area. He'll need some patience from his new family because he'll need time to adjust, but he'll be worth it. His foster mom says he's a sweet boy who isn't quite the cat who'll rub against anyone's leg just yet, but he LOVES to be around other cats, so he should be adopted into a home that has at least one other cat. He would be ideal for someone looking to adopt a pal for a cat they already have or as a companion for someone adopting another cat. He has been: - neutered - given rabies and distemper vaccinations - tested negative for FeLV and FIV - treated for worms and fleas His adopter will receive his medical records. There is a simple adoption process and an adoption fee so we can continue to help cats in need.
