Notes from foster family: Sophie came to HHS with her two 4-week-old babies (Milo and Lola) after being found together in a taped-up box. As soon as I brought her home, she came running out of her carrier, purring and tail to the sky, wanting pets immediately. She is the absolute sweetest girl I have ever met! She LOVES belly, back and chin rubs and will come purring to you the second you look at her and say her name. In fact, I haven't been able to get a good photo of her because as soon as I try she comes over to me for pets. She can be spunky and play, but will stop if one of her kittens cuts in to play, and she waits for Milo and Lola to eat before she begins to be sure they get enough in their bellies. Sophie is a very gentle, caring mom who lets the kittens continue to comfort nurse and would love to keep them with her forever, but understands the importance of letting them explore the world and start their own adventures.
